The site is called Breckon Howe - a burial mound situation on the outskirts of Whitby at the turn off to Goathland on the A169.

It's one just of a vast number of prehistoric monuments that are scattered around the area - including Allan Toft, a Cairnfield with prehistoric rock art and Greenlands Howe, a round barrow with an intact Cist ( see previous post The Howe for an image ).
